Hi, the names Rob and I live in good ol' Blighty.

I'm a budding amateur photographer and rather enjoy exploring the country taking photos. I love old ruins of castles, old stately homes, abbeys, churches, chapels and priories, as well as exploring grave yards and looking at the architectural styles there and the old grave stones. I know that sounds morbid, but believe me, there is a lot of beauty to be seen in these places if you look.

I also like to dabble in using long exposure and taking light photos and other artistic attempts. These range from the long exposured light pics to macro pics of flowers, stone, and other textures. I do enjoy doing some experimental photography and whilst not everything works out as I'd plan, I do still get some good pics.

And it's not just the plain pics, I do sometimes tweak the odd pic with some editing software, just to experiment and play with the colours, contrast and darkness/light.

I thought I'd join up here and share some of my favourite pics with you lovely people and share my love of photography. I'm rarely seen without my camera when out exploring the country, as there's always a photo to be had.
